Washer Installation Checklist

    • You have measured your hallways, doors, and inspected the path for installation to make sure your new washer will fit. It is critical to measure available space.
    • You have measured the space where the washer will be installed, including moulding, to make sure it will fit.
    • You have purchased new, standard-length water supply hoses. We cannot use existing connection parts for new appliance hookups.
    • If you are stacking a new washer and dryer, you must purchase a stacking kit. Please notify your salesperson about your installation. Additional charges apply.
    • Water shut-off valve is corrosion-free, in good condition, has a metal connection and requires no plumbing alterations to connect new parts.
    • A 110-volt 3-prong electrical outlet is within reach of power cord.
    • Drain pipe for washer is located within 2 feet of washer, does not require plumbing alterations, and is no higher than 4 feet from the floor. Most washers are supplied with a 4’ drain hose, and extensions or modifications require additional parts and charges. Agren will not install a drain hose higher than 6 feet, as it could damage the pump, and may not work properly
  • Important! We cannot use existing connection parts for new appliance hookups. This includes water supply hose and electrical connections.
